Welcome to our FAQ! Here you will find all the answers to the most frequently asked questions about our sauna on the shores of Lake Corne in Grône. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, it is mandatory to book your session in advance. Time slots are limited to provide an optimal experience for each participant. You can book directly on our website.
Can I cancel or change my reservation?
For the moment, cancellations or modifications are not possible, except in exceptional cases. Thank you for your understanding and commitment when booking. If you have a special situation, contact us directly to discuss it.
What should I bring to my session?
Here’s what we recommend:
- A swimsuit,
- A towel for the sauna,
- A second towel or bathrobe to dry yourself off after cold baths (both are even better for more comfort),
- Sandals (optional, but practical),
- A water bottle to stay hydrated (tea is provided on site).
Are there changing rooms on site?
Yes, changing rooms are available on site for you to change before and after your session.
Are there showers on site ?
No, there are no showers on site. We therefore ask you to come clean to respect the hygiene of all participants. If necessary, hot wipes are available for rental.
What are the recommendations for swimming in cold water?
To enjoy the benefits of cold baths safely, here are our recommendations:
- Consult a doctor before starting, especially if you have health problems (for example, cardiovascular diseases),
- Avoid going into the water alone for safety reasons,
- Avoid alcohol and heavy meals before immersion,
- Take your time, do not force yourself and immerse yourself gradually without overestimating yourself,
- Stay for a maximum of 1 minute per degree of water temperature.
What are the “Bla Bla Sauna” days and the rest days?
We offer two types of experiences to meet everyone’s desires:
- “Bla Bla Sauna” days: A friendly and warm atmosphere where you can chat freely with friends and enjoy a musical playlist.
- Rest days: An experience focused on calm and relaxation. You will be able to connect with nature, listen to the silence and focus on your breathing.
Can I come in a group?
Yes, it is entirely possible to come in a group and privatize the sauna for a unique experience with friends, colleagues or family. Privatization is offered outside standard opening hours and can last from 1h to 3h depending on your needs. To guarantee availability, it is necessary to book 2 weeks in advance by phone. Enjoy a friendly and exclusive moment in a soothing natural setting!
Should I wear a swimsuit?
For the moment, wearing a swimsuit is mandatory in the sauna and during cold baths. This rule ensures comfort and respect for all participants. Remember to choose a suitable swimsuit to fully enjoy the experience in a healthy and friendly environment. We remain attentive to your suggestions on this point for possible future developments.
Is the sauna suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! The experience is accessible to everyone, even if you have never tried thermotherapy. We explain each step (sauna, cold bath and rest) and accompany you at your own pace.
What are the benefits of the experience?
The benefits of thermotherapy are numerous:
- For the body: It improves blood circulation, eliminates toxins, relaxes muscles, strengthens the immune system and even helps prevent certain cardiovascular problems.
- For the mind: It reduces stress, improves concentration, stimulates creativity and provides a general feeling of well-being.
How long can I stay there?
Your sauna session lasts1 hour, but you are free to extend your moment of relaxation in the tent or around the sauna after your hour, depending on availability and your desires.
Are there any contraindications?
Sauna and cold baths are generally good for your health, but they are not suitable for everyone. Consult your doctor before participating if:
- You are pregnant,
- You have heart or blood pressure problems,
- You suffer from specific medical conditions.
